EMILY WHITE WOOLDRIDGE

MSW, LCSW

Healing is a powerful process; when we feel stuck, depressed, or anxious it can be difficult to know how to take the first step, especially in an unsteady world. Therapy provides the opportunity to explore our patterns and beliefs, meet challenges in healthier ways, and engage more fully with life.

As a therapist my role is to create an authentic, compassionate space to explore places where you may be feeling stuck and to support you as you reclaim a sense of agency in your life. Our work together is a collaborative process, one in which I will walk alongside you and offer guidance that invites you to live more fully, fearlessly, and aligned with your true nature.

MY PRACTICE

I work with adults experiencing the impacts of trauma, limiting beliefs, and disconnection from body and self.  My approach fosters compassionate self-awareness while helping clients gain insight into patterns and beliefs they wish to shift. I draw from a range of techniques, including Internal Family Systems, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and mindfulness and somatic practices. I especially love working at the intersection of trauma (and other formative experiences), spirituality, and the body. I work well with clients who are motivated to explore deeper aspects of behaviors that no longer serve them, heal old hurts, and integrate new ways of walking through the world.
